Use your web browser, (just like hotmail/gmail), or as like myself I use windows live email client with over 50 addresses open all day at the same time - no trouble.

All I do is scan down the subject lines etc and click, hold and slide those I think I might look at into a folder called, "look later". That way I can then just empty the entire inbox/junk box with a single click.
